Charlotte, a 16 year old Trafford College music student has been singing and performing for almost 2 years under professional tuition with “Vocaltutor” and without training for around 6 years.
She has taken part in various gigs around the Manchester and Salford area including competitions. Her performances include singing along side the Hollyoaks cast twice which also included taking part in a competition to raise money for hospital equipment for a childrens hospital. She has also, taken part in gigs in venues such as the Marriott Hotel and Golf Club and audiences of up to 500 people around 10 times in the past year. So far most of Charlotte's gigs and performances have been for charity and to help raise money for various other events.
Currently Charlotte is in full-time education at Manchester's Music Base, which is linked to Trafford College. She is studying a Vocal Artist course which aims to help her develop her repetoire and build her confidence in performing and gigging as well as help to develop her vocal skills even more.
At the moment Charlotte does not perform a specific genre. Her range is very versatile and she can sing anything from 'pop' to 'rock' including 'country', 'jazz/blues' and 'R'nB/Soul' music. At the moment Charlotte does have a repertoire of songs with at least one song from each of the above genres, mainly 'pop' and 'singer/songwriter' genre.
Charlotte's image is always changing which is what makes her so different, from having black hair to blonde hair, classy to cute and singing music that you would never expect from a small town Manchester girl.
At the moment, Charlotte does only have one demo which is displayed on her page. Although, Charlotte is currently writing new material of her own to be able to show who she really is through her music and be able to convey her story through poetic lyrics.
Charlotte has a very strong ethos within herself and her music where she says;
"I just want to be myself, do what I do and stand up for what I believe no matter what people say, I want to sing, be wonderful and live the dream not just dream it."
As well as having a strong vision to be herself no matter what people think she also has a strong music vision to "be successful and build [her] own empire with strength and drive.
Her strong willed attitude comes from a bad experience with her Father at an early age which has given her the drive to get what she wants in life and share her experiences through her music and for this reason Charlotte supports Womens Aid for domestic violence.
