Law Abiding Citizens (LAC) are a British modern indie rock and roll band that have a no nonsense aproach. They are a 5 piece from the skirts of the smoke that grew up around a life of grime. Brothers Michael and Simon Davies both picked up the guitar at an early age, Michael being just 5yrs. They didnt take it serious until they were exposed to Oasis (on the the word in 1994). From that day on the dream was made. Mike was previously in the Young Offenders Institute, based in Manchester, but left to start a band with his brother - he still believes YOI is the best band around other than LAC. Once Martin (Drums) and dudley (Bass) joined in early 2008, it was only a matter of weeks until the first, now legendary, gig at the Temple Bar in Oxford (the smallest gig the band had ever played). Mike and Simon co write most of the songs - music makes us happy its our escape from reality and could well be our escape from a life of the dole. We are in this to make a timeless album where in ten years it will sound as good as the first day you heared it!! congratulations. you are now a Law Abiding Citizen. |
