2) HOW TO UPLOAD YOUR MUSIC
Once you have JOINED AS AN ARTIST you will be asked to enter in your bands details and then you will be will be prompted to UPLOAD a track.
When you upload your tracks please remember to upload some artwork for the cover. It really helps with your chances of selling your music!
Once you have opened your account you can click on MY ACCOUNT at anytime and add, edit or delete tracks. We've recently updated the site to accept files that are not only of the MP3 file format - this should result in far fewer problems.
If you have uploaded music before but the preview player does not work, please try again. If you continue to experience problems uploading music, please CONTACT US.
3) HOW TO BUY MUSIC
In order to buy music, you must first PURCHASE CREDITS. Currently to do this, you must send an SMS from a phone (in credit). We will then send you a voucher code via SMS which you simple enter into the Web site when prompted to pay for your music.
Once the voucher code has been accepted, simply select how you'd like the MP3s to be delivered to you. You can choose either via e-mail, download directly to your PC or send a download link to your mobile phone.
4) HOW TO SELL MUSIC
We recommend you upload all your songs to Masscharts, as well as cover artowrk, track information and images of yourselves. Once complete you should link to your artist/band profile page from your MySpace site and/or Website.
Masscharts is constantly marketing to get more users visiting the Web site and buying music from our listed artists.
5) HOW MUCH DO WE RECIEVE PER TRACK AND HOW DO WE GET PAID
For every track you sell on Masscharts.com you will receive 25p.
You MUST download and fax our CONTRACT back to us before we can send you the royalties you've earned!

Q2) What account should I setup?
A2) If you are only interested in downloading/purchasing music then JOIN AS A FAN. If you are a musician or in a band then JOIN AS AN ARTIST. Click here to create your account.
Q3) How do I download/purchase music?
A3) You can download full tracks to your PC or Mobile phone after you have registered with Mass Charts and created an account. You can join for FREE by clicking here. Once you have joined you can search for music and listen to a sample. To buy a track simply text MP3 to 85199 on your mobile phone. We will then text you back a unique CODE that you can enter in the required field when purchasing a track.
Q4) How do I get the track sent to my mobile phone?
A4) After you have purchased the track or tracks you wanted you will be given a choice for how you would like to receive your music. You can select to download the track to your PC to then put on your MP3 player, get the track sent to your mobile phone, get the track emailed to you or even send the track to a friends mobile phone. The choice is yours!

Q6) Do I still own the rights to my music if I sell it using your site?
A6) Yes! This site does not own any of the copyright for music sold on it. The copyright is owned by the artist or band that created the music.
Q7) How much do I make everytime I sell one of my tracks?
A7) Every time one of your tracks are sold you make 25p.
Q8) How much are my tracks sold for?
A8) 2 prices depending of the number of credits a FAN purchases. If the FAN buys 2 credits then they get each track for 75p. If they buy 8 credits they get each track for 63p.
Q9) How do I buy credits to download music?
A9) It's simple! All you have to do is text MP3 to one of the following numbers to receive your credits. To purchase 2 credits text MP3 to 85222 and to received 8 credits text MP3 to 85199. Each credit buys you 1 track so 8 credits will buy you 8 tracks.
Q10) What information can I put on my band/artist page?
A10) You can upload any number of tracks you like to your band page. The more the better chance you have of selling your music. You can upload cover artwork for all of the tracks you upload, which is highly recommended. Upload photos onto your band page as well as the gigs you are playing.
Q11) So there are no limit on the number of tracks I can upload onto my band/artist page?
A11) No! The more the better.
Q12) How does my music get into the charts?
Q12) When your music is purchased by a FAN you will enter the charts. The more times that track is downloaded/purchased the higher your track will appear in the charts.
Q13) How can I get my band to appear on the Featured Bands page?
Q13) Our varied team of music nuts who listen to all the music uploaded on the site choose who appears on the Featured page. This may change over time so watch this space!
Q14) Is there anything I can do to increase my chances of selling my music on MassCharts?
Q14) Yes. If you have a MySpace page then create a link from that page to your MassCharts band page. If you currently have your own band website or you have management that do then get them to create a link to your MassCharts page. You can also spread the word to friends and at gigs. The more you spread the word the more chance you have of selling your music and at the same time getting noticed by the masses!
